What are your thoughts on the recent ban on the use of Cryptocurrency in Nigeria?

How will the recent ban in the use of Cryptocurrency affect Nigeria? Personally, I feel this move will disrupt many innovations coming into the country. Investors could ignore Nigeria due to its Government and sudden change in policy. What are your thoughts on this?
